Validate and Launch Your Target Store

Completed processing becomes an approved result only after the migrated data, accepted limitations, and target-store readiness have been validated and signed off.

Migration processing, migrated-data acceptance, and launch authorization are separate decisions. Carry the same migration identity, approved scope, acceptance criteria, issue record, and evidence through each stage so that later approvals remain tied to the result that was actually reviewed.

A completed migration is not launch approval

Completion confirms that processing reached an end state. It does not confirm that migrated records meet the approved criteria or that checkout, payment, shipping, tax, notifications, integrations, security, and other target-store operations are ready.

Start with the migration result

Validate Demo Results Decide whether the limited Demo evidence supports proceeding to Full Migration, changing the configuration, or requesting further review.

Validate Full Migration Results Confirm the completed scope, execution results, totals, configuration outcomes, relationships, and representative records before detailed domain approval.

Validate the applicable business domains

Complete each checklist that applies to the purchased service and approved migration scope. A data type or behavior should be validated only when the selected migration path and the Source Platform and Target Platform data models support it.

Validate Products and Categories Verify catalog fields, variants, images, pricing, inventory, Category structures, assignments, navigation, and applicable relationships.

Validate Customers and Orders Verify Customer identity, addresses, groups, Order history, line items, totals, statuses, and required relationships.

Validate Content, URLs, and Redirects Verify supported CMS Pages, Blog Posts, content details, priority URLs, and redirect behavior included in the approved scope.

Approve the result and authorize launch

Migration-result sign-off confirms whether the validated data is accepted. Launch readiness is a later operational decision that determines whether the target store can safely begin serving customers.

Define Sign-off Criteria Record the final Pass, Pass with accepted limitations, or Fail decision, including evidence, issue severity, owners, approvals, and closure conditions.

Launch Readiness Checklist Make the final Go or No-go decision using current migration sign-off, operational tests, ownership, risk controls, and recovery preparation.

Stabilize the live target store

Post-Launch Monitoring Checklist Monitor live customer and operational behavior, triage launch-impacting issues, reconcile critical activity, and close stabilization with a documented handoff.
