Lightspeed Retail (R-Series) API Connection

Lightspeed Retail (R-Series) uses an application authorization flow that returns the API Key required for the Source connection. If the edition is not yet confirmed, use the Lightspeed Overview to compare all supported Lightspeed editions before continuing.

Get the connection details

1. Sign in to the intended Lightspeed Retail (R-Series) administrator account.
2. Open the NC-Migration authorization link.
3. Click Authorize Application to authorize NC-Migration.
4. Download the generated lightspeed_api_key.txt file.
5. Open the file and record the API key.

R-Series has no Source Store URL field

Do not add or substitute a Source Store URL for this edition. Store identity behavior for no-URL Source setups is governed by Store URL Locking and Store Identity.

Verify this connection

Use Test Platform Connections for optional access verification. A successful test shows Connected. If the platform remains Not connected, repeat the authorization with the intended administrator account and confirm the downloaded API Key, then use the shared recovery checks before continuing.
