Clover API Connection
Prepare the Clover Merchant ID and API Token required by Next-Cart, then verify the API connection without adding a Source Store URL.
Clover API Connection
Section titled “Clover API Connection”Prepare the Merchant ID and private API token in the Clover Dashboard.
Get the connection details
Section titled “Get the connection details”-
Sign in to the Clover Dashboard and open Account & Setup.

Under About Your Business, click Merchants. On User Settings, find the Merchant column and copy the Merchant ID beneath the intended merchant name.

Open Account & Setup again. Under Business Operations, click API Tokens.

In Create new token, enter a name and select all Read permissions.

Click Create Token. Under Tokens, copy the new Private token.
Enter the values in Next-Cart

| Merchant ID | The identifier below the intended merchant name. |
| API Token | The Private token generated with all Read permissions. |
Verify this connection
Section titled “Verify this connection”Use Test Platform Connections for optional access verification. A successful test shows Connected. If the platform remains Not connected, use the shared recovery checks before continuing.
