VTEX API Connection
Generate a VTEX application key and token and enter the Store URL, Account Name, Application Key, and Application Token required by Next-Cart.
VTEX API Connection
Section titled “VTEX API Connection”Create an application key and token for the VTEX account used in the migration.
Get the connection details
Section titled “Get the connection details”-
Sign in to VTEX Admin. Open Apps > Application Keys.

Select Manage My Keys, then Generate New.

Enter a label, such as Next-Cart Migration.

Click Add Roles, select the highest access role recommended for this migration connection, such as Owner (Admin Super), then click Add Roles to apply it.

Click Generate.

Copy Application Key and Application Token, and save the values in a
.txtfile. Both credentials are displayed only once. -
Prepare the store address in the form
https://accountname.myvtex.com. Theaccountnameportion is the Account Name.
Enter the values in Next-Cart

| Store URL | The store address in the form https://accountname.myvtex.com. |
| Account Name | The accountname portion of that store address. |
| Application Key | The generated Application Key. |
| Application Token | The Application Token saved when generated. |
Verify this connection
Section titled “Verify this connection”Use Test Platform Connections for optional access verification. A successful test shows Connected. If the platform remains Not connected, use the shared recovery checks before continuing.
