Dashboard Home
Use Dashboard Home to spot migration or Order activity that needs attention and jump directly into Sales, Demo, Support, or the relevant project record.
Dashboard Home
Section titled “Dashboard Home”Home is the default Dashboard landing view. It summarizes migration activity and gives you direct shortcuts into common pre-migration and support workflows.
Detailed transaction and invoice evidence remains in Orders. For Demo or purchased migration work, expand Migrations and select the required nested destination. For Profile, Security, or Settings, expand My Account and select the required nested destination.
Review migration activity
Section titled “Review migration activity”The Home view can surface these account-level signals.
| Dashboard area | What it helps you review |
|---|---|
| Total Migrations | The total migration records associated with the signed-in account. |
| Active Migrations | Migration records in an active state. |
| In Progress | Migration activity that has started and has not reached its final state. |
| Pending Orders | Orders that still require payment, approval, or other commercial attention. |
| Migrations by Data Type | A visual summary of migration activity across data types. |
| Migrations by Platform | A visual summary of migration activity by platform relationship. |
| Recent Activities | Recent migration paths, Services, and activity dates that help you identify the project that changed most recently. |
Review Dashboard Home
Section titled “Review Dashboard Home”- Sign in to Next-Cart. Home opens as the default Dashboard view.
- If you are elsewhere in the Dashboard, select Home in the sidebar.
- Review Total Migrations, Active Migrations, In Progress, and Pending Orders for work that needs attention.
- Review Migrations by Data Type and Migrations by Platform for unexpected or unfamiliar activity patterns.
- Review Recent Activities and identify the migration path or Service that needs follow-up.
- Open the destination for the next task. Select Orders or Support directly, or expand Migrations and select Demo Migrations or My Migrations for migration work.
Contact Sales
Section titled “Contact Sales”Use Contact Sales when you are planning a migration or are unsure which service fits. The page frames the use case directly: Planning a migration or unsure which service fits? Tell us about your store, and our team will help you find the clearest path forward.
The Contact Sales form collects the main commercial and migration-planning inputs, including:
- first and last name;
- work email and optional phone number;
- company;
- Source Platform and Target Platform;
- estimated volumes for Products, Customers, Orders, and Blog Posts;
- a message describing the project or question.
Review the details, then select Contact Sales to submit the request.
Request a Demo
Section titled “Request a Demo”Use Request a Demo when the project needs hands-on evaluation rather than only a self-service test. This path is appropriate when the migration involves special requirements, unsupported custom entities, or project-specific needs that require a Demo Migration to be configured and performed directly by a Next-Cart technician.
The request form asks for contact and project context, including:
- first and last name;
- work email;
- company;
- Source Platform and Source URL;
- Target Platform and Target URL;
- a message describing the requirement or scenario that should be demonstrated.
Review the details, then select Request a Demo to submit the request.
Start Free Demo
Section titled “Start Free Demo”Use Start Free Demo when you want to configure a self-service Demo Migration immediately. This shortcut opens the Demo configuration directly and bypasses the longer Dashboard sequence: expand Migrations, select Demo Migrations, then select Start a New Demo.
The shortcut changes only how you enter the Demo workflow. Demo limits, available settings, validation expectations, and the separation from purchased migrations remain unchanged.
For the complete self-service procedure, use Demo Migration walkthrough.
Open Support from the Dashboard
Section titled “Open Support from the Dashboard”Select Support in the Dashboard sidebar when you need to submit or track a support request. The Support Portal opens separately from the Dashboard with Home, My tickets, and New ticket navigation. On Home, enter a request summary and click Get help to start the ticket form. Search and status filters are on My tickets.
Use Support Tickets for submission, search, status filters, replies, and desktop or mobile Add to device instructions.
Expected result
Section titled “Expected result”After reviewing Dashboard Home, you should know:
- whether migration or commercial activity needs attention;
- which migration path or Service changed recently;
- whether the next task belongs in Orders, Support, a destination under Migrations, or a destination under My Account;
- whether you need consultative Sales guidance, a technician-assisted Demo, or a self-service Demo.
Verify before continuing
Section titled “Verify before continuing”| Check | Pass condition | If it does not pass |
