Entity Points Plans and Service Pricing

Compare current Entity Points capacities and service prices, understand Custom Service starting prices, and select sufficient coverage.

Next-Cart automatically selects the closest Entity Points Plan whose capacity covers the calculated migration requirement. Review that selection against the new eligible records expected before the final migration activity, then keep it or choose another sufficient plan before purchase.

An Entity Points Plan controls counted-record capacity. The service type controls how the migration is handled and contributes to the purchase price. Neither one automatically filters source records.

  • During the initial purchase, the system selects the closest plan that supports the entered Entity Points requirement.
  • You can change the automatically selected plan before completing payment, but the chosen plan must provide sufficient capacity.
  • After purchase, the plan can be upgraded to a higher capacity but cannot be downgraded.
  • A plan upgrade remains attached to the same migration and fixed migration path.
  • An upgrade does not restart or extend the one-year service duration.
  • Upgrade Checkout uses top-up pricing, so the amount already paid is deducted from the migration’s New Value.

Additional capacityEach additional 100,000 Entity Points+$50+$50+$50 before other Custom Service charges

The Custom Service amount in the table is a starting price, not a fixed final price.

The final Custom Service cost is based on:

  1. the Standard Service price for the selected Entity Points Plan;
  2. the quote for approved Customization work;
  3. purchased Add-ons, when applicable;
  4. other work or responsibilities included in the agreed service scope.

For example, Start from $149 for the Pro plan means that $149 is the Standard Service price floor for that capacity. The completed Custom Service quote may be higher after the required work and purchased scope are confirmed.

Calculate the expected Entity Points from Products, Customers, Orders, and Blog Posts, then select a plan whose capacity is at or above the calculated total.

Include reasonable allowance for:

  • new eligible counted records expected before the final migration activity;
  • records omitted from the first estimate;
  • approved scope changes that introduce new eligible counted records;
  • growth between purchase and final execution.

Do not add capacity merely because previously counted records may be processed again. Records already counted under the same purchased service and migration path do not consume points again solely because another supported migration action processes them.

A calculated requirement of 2,850 Entity Points requires at least the Growth+ plan because Growth covers up to 2,000 points and Growth+ covers up to 4,000 points.

This comparison selects capacity only. The final purchase also depends on service type, Add-ons, approved Customization, discounts, taxes, and other order details.

After Global+, additional capacity is priced in increments of 100,000 Entity Points.

QuestionOperational rule
Does one increment provide unlimited capacity?No. Each increment adds 100,000 Entity Points.
Does added capacity change the migration path?No. The purchased service remains tied to the same Source Platform → Target Platform path.
Does added capacity change the service type?No. Standard, Managed, or Custom remains separate.
Does added capacity select or filter records?No. It increases coverage only.
Does the Custom Service increment replace the Customization quote?No. The increment is added before other approved Custom Service charges.
A plan upgrade affectsA plan upgrade does not affect by itself
Maximum Entity Points capacity for the purchased migration service.Source Platform or Target Platform.
Remaining coverage for new eligible counted records.Standard, Managed, or Custom Service type.
The plan and capacity shown for the purchased service after the order is completed.Purchased Add-ons or approved Customization.
How Total Entity Points Used is interpreted against the plan maximum.Selected data types, mappings, filters, or Source Platform Options.
The New Value and additional upgrade price.The original purchase date or service expiration.

Use Migrations → My Migrations → Statistics → View Upgrade Options to review additional capacity when the approved migration scope exceeds the current plan.

Before completing an upgrade:

  • confirm the correct purchased migration service and migration path;
  • compare the current plan maximum with Total Entity Points Used;
  • estimate remaining new eligible counted records;
  • confirm whether an earlier upgrade order is pending or complete;
  • confirm that the selected plan is higher than the current plan;
  • review New Value, Previously Paid, and the additional amount due.

Processing may stop before all remaining eligible counted records reach Success when available capacity is insufficient. Confirm that the upgrade is complete before starting another migration activity.

You do not repay the full migration value when upgrading the plan. New Value shows the migration’s total value after the upgrade, Previously Paid shows the amount already paid for that migration, and the order Total is the additional upgrade price.

Do not confuseCorrect distinction
Entity Points capacity and migration scopeCapacity covers counted records; scope defines what should migrate.
Entered quantities and filteringQuantities support calculation and plan selection; they do not exclude records automatically.
Standard or Managed price and final totalThe table shows the service price for the plan; Checkout applies the complete order details.
Custom starting price and final Custom Service quoteThe starting price uses the Standard Service floor; approved Customization and other agreed scope are added.
Additional capacity and an unlimited planEach increment adds 100,000 points; it does not remove the capacity limit.
Plan upgrade and migration actionAn upgrade changes capacity; it does not choose the next configuration or execution path.
Plan upgrade and service durationAn upgrade does not restart the one-year period or change the original expiration.
  • Use Entity Points for locked weights, consumption rules, and usage locations.
  • Use Checkout to calculate points, select the service and plan, and verify the final order total.
  • Use Orders to verify purchase or upgrade order status.
  • Use Migrations to review Statistics, usage, and Upgrade Your Migration.
  • Use Prepare Custom Service Requirements to define the rules, examples, dependencies, and pass conditions required for a Custom Service quote.
  • Use Entity Points Issues when capacity, consumption, or upgrade results are unexpected.
