Demo Migrations

Demo Migrations is the Account entry point for creating or continuing a limited test of a selected migration path.

The Account interface is the entry point. Complete setup, configuration, execution, and validation guidance remains under Run Your Migration.

Demo Migration uses a simplified workflow

Demo Migration includes the settings needed to create a representative sample. Add-ons, Customer ID preservation, Order ID preservation, and Customization work selection are unavailable.

Open Demo Migrations

1. Sign in to Next-Cart.
2. Open Account.
3. Select Migrations.
4. Select Demo Migrations.
5. Choose Start Free Demo to create another Demo Migration, or select Start for an existing migration path.
6. Continue through Connect Stores, Configuration, and Migration.

Available actions

Action	Use it to
Statistics	Review summary and progress information for the Demo Migration.
Start	Open the three-step Demo Migration process.
History	Review activity recorded for Connect Stores, Configuration, and Migration.
Start Free Demo	Create another Demo Migration, subject to the daily account limit.

Expected result

The selected Demo Migration opens and you can continue through:

1. Connect Stores
2. Configuration
3. Migration

Verify account context

Check	Pass condition
Account	You are signed in to the account that should own the Demo activity.
Category	Demo Migrations is selected, not My Migrations.
Migration Path	The Source Platform and Target Platform are correct.
Daily allowance	The account has not reached the daily Demo Migration limit.
Target access	You can inspect the target store after the Demo completes.

Failure handling

Issue	What to do
Start Free Demo is unavailable	Confirm the daily limit and account status.
The migration path is wrong	Create or open the correct Demo Migration before connecting stores.
Start does not open the workflow	Refresh the page once, check History, then contact Support with the migration path and a screenshot.
Customization work is required	Record the requirement for a purchased migration service and Custom Service review. It cannot be selected in Demo Migration.
